High Endurance Bearings

Our novel bearing has demonstrated more than 100% life improvement in laboratory qualification testing on specific Navy aircraft components. The bearing significantly reduces operating temperature and torque, protects against contaminants such as sand and dust, and provides failure redundancy. This new design greatly reduces U.S. Navy maintenance costs and increases availability of aircraft that currently require out-of-phase repair efforts due to excessive bearing wear. Extending the life of the bearings will allow the aircraft to safely remain operational until major service intervals.
