E4B EMI Enclosures

Using advanced composite designs, materials, joining techniques, and modeling, Triton Systems designed, developed, and manufactured all-composite EMI-shielded electronics enclosures for use on the E-4B C3 aircraft fleet. This enclosure is 22% lighter than the equivalent aluminum rack enclosure while exceeding EMI shielding effectiveness requirements (providing between 50 – 80 DB of EMI shielding) and meeting FAR 25.852 flammability/smoke/heat and FAR 25.561 structural requirements.
